Broom Hill Baptist Church was establish in 1866, under the name of Green Hill Baptist church. During those years a small group of individuals held meeting under a bush harbor in a place called Spring Branch Located between Tomb Field and highway 261, six miles south of Camden, SC. In 1868 meetings were then held in a small cabin, organization of the church were established with 275 members. In 1876 Green Hill Baptist Church name and location were change to it Current name BROOM HILL BAPTIST CHURCH.
